With so many content platforms available for fans to find your music on, it’s important for artists to get their music on social media platforms, as well as the major music stores. These days social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and TikTok are also treated like music stores, allowing artists to distribute their music and earn money from it.
I think most of us know by now how powerful social media can be in helping artists get discovered, and we’ve all heard of artists who made it big by having their music become popular on Instagram, or an artist who became a huge TikTok star off the back of their catchy tune. Just like German artist KAIBA who released his track ‘Overdose’ on Spinnup and then went on to become huge on TikTok, gaining over 2 million views, and leading to him signing with Universal Music Germany.
To follow the likes of KAIBA, and just the same as getting your music on any other music store, artists need to release their music with a distribution service, like Spinnup, to get their music on the biggest social media platforms.
